Master Graham Healy's Martial Arts & Boxing Evolutionary background.

Master Young Ku Yun - 1975

Arguably one of the best kickers in the world, Master Young Ku Yun was captured after a grading demonstrating some of his amazing kicks. This footage was lost for over 30 years. Click here to master Paul Mc Phails Site and the dvd.

Dedication

Martial Arts & Boxing is taught by the 'old school' method of the Master/Aprentice system .
For correct 'impartation' of technique, power and timing and for the Master to 'impart' to the student 'effectively' it has to be done on a personal basis 'one to one'.

I have been fortunate enough to develop a close personal relationship with all of my mentors through my self-defence education.
From Chong-Chull Rhee with his 'War Stories' at gradings dinners, to Grandmaster Yun with the many hours of personal 'one to one' time I spent with him esecially in Townsville North Queensland, to my beloved Grandfather who was 'tough as nails' but would 'get results quickly' to my Father Bert Healy (Jnr) who just turned 79 years of age on 28th march 07 .

Myself and Dad still a keen followers of Boxing and have become part of the Boxing Hall of Fame where dad has caught up with many of his 'boxing mates' and hero's of the past (and so have I) .

November 2007 I was the instructor who bought the famous Israeli commando Moni Aisik to Australian shores to add the close quarter dimension to the Healy's System now completing the triangle of TKD kicks for long range, boxing strategies for medium range and commando techniques for close range thus completing the system in all areas making it combat effective in any situation.

Finally , as we evolve in the self defence journey we tend to remember the positives rather then the negatives of the past and treat it all as a 'learning curve' so that we have something 'special' to pass onto the next generation'.

I still love boxing training, the speed agility and timing & the pin point TKD kicks and have made it a lifelong persuit and would like to sincerely thank all my mentoring Masters and trainers in contributing to the person I am today .

yours in the 'true way' of martial arts and self defence where the 'battle' is on several fronts
*Physical *mental *Spiritual *Legal

I hope you learn to Master each area through the vehical and discipline of the Arts which I have always 'come back to' no matter what happens in the 'outside world'.
